Part 1 — Tech Repair Services
1. Agreement to Terms
By bringing your device to Jake Fixes Tech LLC or scheduling a service appointment, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Diagnostic Fee
A non-refundable diagnostic fee of $50 is charged for all repair assessments. This fee covers the time and expertise required to diagnose your device. If you choose to proceed with the recommended repair, the $50 diagnostic fee will be applied toward your total repair cost. If you decline the repair, the diagnostic fee is retained as payment for services rendered.
3. Pricing & Payment
Jake Fixes Tech LLC charges flat rate pricing for all services. All labor fees are due upfront before repair work begins. Parts and components required for repair are charged separately and will be communicated to you before any parts are ordered or installed. We accept cash, card and other agreed upon payment methods. All sales are final once work has begun.
4. Data & Privacy
Jake Fixes Tech LLC is not responsible for any data loss that occurs during the repair process. It is the customer's sole responsibility to back up all data before submitting a device for service. By leaving your device with us you acknowledge that data loss is a risk inherent to repair work and release Jake Fixes Tech LLC from any liability related to lost, corrupted or inaccessible data.
5. Labor Warranty
Jake Fixes Tech LLC offers a 30 day warranty on labor for all completed repairs. If the same specific issue recurs within 30 days of the completed repair, we will address it at no additional labor charge. This warranty covers labor only and does not cover:
- New or unrelated issues that arise after the repair
- Physical damage caused by the customer after pickup
- Software issues unrelated to the original repair
- Defective or failed third party parts (covered by manufacturer warranty where applicable)
6. Parts & Components
Jake Fixes Tech LLC uses quality third party parts where original manufacturer parts are unavailable or cost prohibitive. We make no warranty on third party parts beyond what is provided by the parts manufacturer. Original manufacturer parts can be sourced upon request and may affect pricing.
7. Pre-Existing Damage
Jake Fixes Tech LLC is not responsible for any pre-existing damage to your device that is unrelated to the service being performed. We will document and communicate any pre-existing damage found upon intake of your device before beginning any work.
8. Abandoned Devices
Devices not picked up within 30 days of repair completion or notification will be considered abandoned property. Jake Fixes Tech LLC reserves the right to dispose of, repurpose or resell abandoned devices to recover costs. We will make reasonable attempts to contact you before taking any action on an abandoned device.
9. Right to Refuse Service
Jake Fixes Tech LLC reserves the right to refuse service to any individual or device at our sole discretion. We also reserve the right to stop work on a repair at any time if unforeseen complications arise, in which case you will be notified promptly.
10. Limitation of Liability — Repairs
Jake Fixes Tech LLC's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or our repair services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages of any kind.
11. On-Site Service
For on-site tech support visits, an hourly rate will be communicated and agreed upon before the visit begins. Travel time may be included in the hourly rate depending on distance. Payment for on-site visits is due upon completion of the service call.
Part 2 — Web Design & Management Services
12. Agreement to Web Services Terms
By engaging Jake Fixes Tech LLC for any web design, development or management service you agree to the terms outlined in this section in addition to the general terms above. These terms apply to all website build packages, management plans and on-demand hourly work.
13. Web Services Payment Terms
All website build projects require a 50% non-refundable deposit before work begins. The remaining 50% is due upon completion and before the site is launched or delivered. If the final payment is not received within 14 days of project completion, Jake Fixes Tech LLC reserves the right to withhold delivery of the completed website until payment is made.
On-demand hourly work is billed in 1 hour minimums. Invoices for hourly work are due within 14 days of the invoice date. Late payments may result in work being paused until the balance is cleared.
14. Project Scope & Revisions
Each build package includes a set number of revision rounds as stated on the Web Services page. A revision round is defined as a single consolidated set of changes submitted at one time. Additional revisions beyond the included rounds are billed at the standard hourly rate of $75/hour.
Any requests that fall outside the originally agreed project scope — including additional pages, new features or major design changes — will be treated as out-of-scope work and billed separately at the hourly rate.
15. Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for providing all content required for the website including text, images, logos, branding guidelines and any other materials. Jake Fixes Tech LLC is not responsible for delays caused by the client failing to provide required content or feedback in a timely manner.
If the client does not respond to requests for content, feedback or approval within 7 days, the project will be paused. Work will resume once the client responds. Jake Fixes Tech LLC is not responsible for any project delays resulting from client inaction.
16. Project Timeline
Jake Fixes Tech LLC will provide an estimated project timeline at the start of each project. These timelines are estimates and not guarantees. Delays caused by the client including late content delivery, slow feedback or scope changes are not the responsibility of Jake Fixes Tech LLC and may extend the timeline accordingly.
17. Website Ownership
Upon receipt of full and final payment, the client owns their website outright including all code, content and design assets created for their project. Jake Fixes Tech LLC retains no ownership over the delivered website after final payment is received.
Jake Fixes Tech LLC reserves the right to display completed websites in a portfolio or as examples of work unless the client explicitly requests otherwise in writing prior to project completion.
All website code and assets remain the intellectual property of Jake Fixes Tech LLC until final payment is received in full.
18. Domain & Hosting
Where Jake Fixes Tech LLC registers a domain on behalf of a client, the domain will be registered in the client's name and transferred to the client's control upon final payment. Clients are responsible for renewing their own domains unless enrolled in a management plan that includes domain renewal.
Jake Fixes Tech LLC uses Cloudflare Pages for website hosting. Hosting is included at no additional cost as part of the build package. If a client cancels their management plan, their website will remain live on Cloudflare Pages — Jake Fixes Tech LLC will simply cease providing management services.
19. Management Plan Terms & Pricing
Management plans are optional and separate from the one-time build fee. Plans are available on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis. Paying quarterly or annually provides a discount as outlined below:

Cancellation policy:
- Monthly plans — cancel anytime with 30 days written notice. No refund for the current billing month.
- Quarterly plans — no refund after the first 14 days of the billing period.
- Annual plans — no refund after the first 30 days of the billing period.
Upon cancellation of a management plan the client retains full ownership of their website. Jake Fixes Tech LLC will cease all management activities at the end of the final paid period.
20. Limitation of Liability — Web Services
Jake Fixes Tech LLC is not liable for any loss of business, revenue, data or reputation arising from website downtime, errors or performance issues. Our total liability for any web services claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific project or plan in question.
Jake Fixes Tech LLC is not responsible for third party service outages including but not limited to Cloudflare, domain registrars or any other external platforms used in the delivery of web services.
21. Accessibility Compliance
Accessibility compliance services apply exclusively to websites built from scratch by Jake Fixes Tech LLC. Jake Fixes Tech LLC does not offer accessibility remediation, auditing or retrofitting services for pre-existing websites built by other parties.
Jake Fixes Tech LLC builds all websites to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility standards at the time of delivery. This includes proper heading structure, sufficient color contrast, keyboard navigation support and semantic HTML to ensure compatibility with screen readers and assistive technologies.
Accessibility compliance is verified at the time of project delivery using the WAVE accessibility evaluation tool. A passing accessibility report will be provided with Professional and Premium package deliveries.
Client content responsibility: After the website is delivered and handed off to the client, Jake Fixes Tech LLC is not responsible for maintaining accessibility compliance on any content added or modified by the client. This includes but is not limited to:
- Images uploaded without descriptive alt text
- Text or color changes that reduce contrast ratios below WCAG AA standards
- Third party plugins, widgets or embeds added by the client
- Any structural changes made outside of a Jake Fixes Tech LLC management plan
Clients enrolled in a management plan that includes accessibility monitoring will have their site checked quarterly and any issues introduced by content updates will be flagged and corrected as part of the plan.
Jake Fixes Tech LLC is not liable for any legal claims, fines or damages arising from accessibility issues introduced after project delivery.
ADA Accessibility Recommendation Waiver: In situations where a client requests content or features that do not meet WCAG AA accessibility standards — such as uncaptioned videos, inaccessible PDFs or low-contrast design choices — Jake Fixes Tech LLC will inform the client of the non-compliance and provide a written recommendation for correction. If the client chooses not to follow the recommendation, they will be required to sign a separate ADA Accessibility Recommendation Waiver before work proceeds. This waiver documents that Jake Fixes Tech LLC fulfilled its professional obligation by identifying and communicating the accessibility concern, and that the client accepted full liability for any resulting legal claims or regulatory action. Signed waivers are retained on file by Jake Fixes Tech LLC.
General
22. Changes to Terms
Jake Fixes Tech LLC reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
