How It Works
Tech Help on Your Terms
Tech tutoring is one-on-one time with me focused entirely on what you want to learn or understand better. There's no set curriculum and no pressure to keep up. We go at whatever pace works for you, cover whatever topics matter to you, and you ask as many questions as you want. Sessions can be in person in Littleton or remote via video call from wherever you are.
This is computer and technology tutoring based on my background as a computer technician. I cover how technology works, how to use it safely, how to maintain it, and how to get more out of the devices and software you already have.
Staying Safe Online
How to spot phishing emails, avoid scams, browse safely, and protect your personal information. One of the most valuable things anyone can learn.
Backups & Data Protection
Learn how to set up and manage your own backups so you never lose important files. Covers Time Machine, Windows Backup, external drives, and cloud options.
Understanding Your Computer
What the different parts do, how to keep things running well, what to do when something goes wrong, and when it's worth calling for help vs. handling it yourself.
Email & Communication
Setting up and managing email accounts, organizing your inbox, understanding spam filters, and using communication tools confidently.
Devices & Setup
Getting a new device set up the right way, transferring your data, connecting to WiFi, syncing accounts, and understanding the settings that matter.
DIY Maintenance
Want to run your own malware scans, manage your startup programs, or keep your machine clean and fast yourself? I can walk you through exactly what I do and why.
Cloud Services
Understanding and using iCloud, Google Drive, OneDrive and other cloud storage tools. Getting them set up, organized, and actually working for you.
Browsers & the Web
How to use your browser effectively, manage extensions, clear cache, use bookmarks, and understand what's happening when something goes wrong.
Anything Else Tech Related
If it involves a computer, phone, tablet, router, smart TV, or any other technology and you want to understand it better — ask. Chances are I can help.
Session Options
In Person or Remote, Your Call
In Person
I come to you for on-site sessions in the Littleton area. Great if you want hands-on help with your actual setup at home or in your office.
Remote via Video Call
Can't make it in? No problem. Remote sessions work great for most tutoring topics. We connect over Google Meet or Zoom — I send you a link, no account needed on your end — and I walk you through everything on screen. Need more than tutoring? Remote Support is also available.
Ready to Learn?
No question is too basic and no topic is off limits. Reach out and let me know what you want to learn and we'll set up a session that works for you.
